Greenville, North Carolina - Seared Chophouse is proud to announce the grand reopening of its local steakhouse in Greenville, NC. With the help of ownership led by NRG Partners, LLC, the restaurant group behind the hugely successful Nash Hot Chicken, the team has dove head-first into a complete relaunch of the local chophouse. The partners have completely rebranded including a complete renovation of the interior, a new menu, a robust wine offering, and revamped signature cocktails.
Along with upgrades to the menu and restaurant itself, there is a new Executive Chef on Seared Chophouse’s staff, Brandon Demers. Demers is an Army Veteran and experienced culinary maestro ready to bring a unique culinary experience to Seared Chophouse.
“I am thrilled to be involved with this relaunch for Seared Chophouse. With originality, freshness, and locality at the core of our vision, we have elevated the restaurant's environment and atmosphere to match the kitchen's new culinary vision,” said Brandon Demers, new executive Chef at Seared Chophouse. “We look forward to delivering a one-of a-kind fine casual dining experience.”
Following his military service as a medic in the Army, Demers pursued his passion for Culinary Arts at Johnson & Wales University. Since receiving his education, Demers has developed a diverse culinary career, ranging from working in restaurants such as Cassique at Voyseys and Beaches Country Club in Kiawah Island, South Carolina, to holding positions ranging from an Executive Chef to Culinary Director in both Higher Education and Healthcare. The partners believe a new culinary direction will revitalize the restaurant while bringing a local feel to Seared Chophouse’s cuisine.
Demer’s philosophy for creating a unique culinary experience is to integrate locally-sourced ingredients, merging familiar and new flavors in a fun and exciting way. His goal is to deliver chef-driven meals in a comfortable and inviting environment, a concept he plans to continue at Seared Chophouse.
“The new menu captures the best parts of a Chophouse with high-quality, fresh cuts of steak, pork, chicken, and seafood. It will also include chef-created dishes featuring items that promote seasonality, local, fresh ingredients, and creativity,” said Demers. “With our new menu, we wanted to bring culinary innovation with a brand new take on American classics.”
The menu features farm-to-table dishes with locally-sourced ingredients. Seared Chophouse provides patrons with an unforgettable dining experience, and the new menu reflects that commitment. Guests can look forward to savoring delicious entrees, including top-of-the line cuts and the highest-quality seafood. An all-new brunch menu also awaits guests, with brunch now on Saturday & Saturday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
With an upgraded interior and an improved customer and dining experience, the partners at Seared Chophouse are driven by a mission to provide the best steaks and chef-driven dishes in Eastern NC. The grand reopening marks a new chapter for the restaurant and its team, and they are looking forward to welcoming back loyal patrons and new customers to Seared Chophouse.
